The solution to simple online tour bookings has arrived

TORONTO – OCTOBER 28, 2015 – There is no question that North Americans love traveling and seek simplicity in the planning process. From coach tours to sailing and everything in between, to the variety of tour operators to choose from, navigating group tours can be a headache. Now that TourRadar has launched in North America, group tour bookings have become more simplified.

TourRadar is looking to make waves in the travel tech industry with their 24/7 Customer Support Team and working closely with tour operators to provide travelers with the best touring experiences possible. The travel startup offers the largest selection of tours across all brands and provides customers with an easy booking platform and the lowest prices possible.

As part of their launch, TourRadar has unveiled a Book & Pay Button to simplify the booking process for small and medium tour operators worldwide. The secure and easy-to-implement Book & Pay Button allows operators to process bookings directly from their own website and through TourRadar’s established marketplace. It’s simple to use: when a traveler is ready to book a tour, they click the fully customizable “Book & Pay” button on the operator’s website, directing them to their branded payment page on TourRadar.

By utilizing the TourRadar secure payment process, all major currencies and credit cards can be accepted along with full PCI compliance and no setup or monthly fees. On top of that, it’s at an industry low transaction fee of 2.9%, compared to others over 3.9%.

“What’s great about the Book & Pay Button is that we can continue to help the small and medium sized operators increase online bookings,” said Travis Pittman, CEO and Co-founder at TourRadar. “It’s a huge advantage for these operators. What we’ve created is a simple, less costly way to accept bookings and payments from travelers worldwide, directly from the operator’s existing websites.”

Founded in 2010 by Travis and Shawn Pittman, TourRadar is the trusted online marketplace for comparing and booking multi-day tours. The startup offers tours from well-known tour operators including Contiki, G Adventures, Topdeck and much more. With headquarters in Vienna and a regional service center in Brisbane, Toronto is the latest edition to TourRadar’s fleet.

North America is a key market for the startup and with forty per cent of TourRadar’s bookings already coming from Canada and the United States, it’s the fastest growing region.

“With so much response from North Americans it was clear we needed to open an office here,” said Christian Wolters, North American Managing Director at TourRadar. “North America is home to many travelers along with some of the most trusted tour operators. It was a no brainer to expand and we are eager to spread the word.”

TourRadar has simplified group touring for both travelers and operators with a simple, user-friendly booking platform. With exciting tours from the most popular tour operators, TourRadar’s offerings are plentiful. From eco tours through South America’s rainforests to hikes along Austrian lakes, TourRadar has a tour to fulfill every traveler’s appetite for wanderlust.
